I wish I had this stand before my cat tried to climb down off my student cello via the bridge tipping it and sending to flying to the floor from a 1 meter shelf. The cat was totally fine, but one tuning peg got broken and the cello got 2 harsh marks on the ribs. This item should prevent this from happening again. It's very light, padded and fits snugly but still is easy to insert the cello into without holding the stand with my hands.

Since I have several cellos, I needed a few inexpensive cello stands, I bought 2 of these here. They are great, look good, are light and fulfill their function so that the cellos do not fall over on the floor (even with 2 pets, a dog and a cat), as long as you pay attention to the correct fit, i.e. put the cello in exactly the right place, as shown on the CelloGard user manual. I am satisfied, a great and very cheap solution. I can recommend this without reservation. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
