celloGard Foldable
The celloGard Foldable
is the latest addition to the celloGard product line. It does everything that the Model One does, but it has one, key advantage - in seconds, it unfolds from a small, compact shape into a full size celloGard - ready to protect your instrument against dangerous knock-over accidents. It comes with its own storage case that fits easily into a cello case or music bag - so that it is always ready to go wherever you play, practice, record or perform.
celloGard Model One
The celloGard Model One
is our original product model. It requires no adjustment or setup. Simply place it on the floor and it is ready to use. It works with all standard size cellos - 4/4, 3/4 and even 1/2 size. It even works with a soft cover in place, to further protect your cello when you're not playing it. Affordable and easy to use, it has found a permanent place on the floor of many practice studios, rehearsal rooms and on the work bench of professional luthiers.
Colored Sleeves
The soft, neoprene sleeves which cover the support arms come in a variety of colors to address any need. Neutral or darker shades for more formal events. Brighter, more lively hues for high visibility in low light places or when you wish to make a statement. No matter where you use it, your CelloGard
is always suitable for the occasion. (Note: The sleeves are identical and interchangeable between both celloGard models)

I wish I had this stand before my cat tried to climb down off my student cello via the bridge tipping it and sending to flying to the floor from a 1 meter shelf. The cat was totally fine, but one tuning peg got broken and the cello got 2 harsh marks on the ribs. This item should prevent this from happening again. It's very light, padded and fits snugly but still is easy to insert the cello into without holding the stand with my hands.

I and other cellists in my current and past circles have all witnessed / been victim of accidental cello tipping events.... so I thought I'd give it a try. Since I have several cellos, I needed a few inexpensive cello stands, I bought 2 of these here. They are great, look good, are light and fulfill their function so that the cellos do not fall over on the floor (even with 2 pets, a dog and a cat), as long as you pay attention to the correct fit, i.e. put the cello in exactly the right place, as shown on the CelloGard user manual. I am satisfied, a great and very cheap solution. I can recommend this without reservation. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
